PINK PANTHER PARTY

Remember,
last week we were planning a party
for Chantelle & Sean

So, hi to all my Pink Saturday fellow bloggers,
and welcome people from A-Z Challenge.
This challenge is quite difficult for me to contain
within my off-the-wall esoteric wishes for posting.
But, I've found these ILLUSTRATIONS
to keep with the 'I' confines of the A-Z today,
and still keep up with
my story of Chantelle, Sean, Chelsea & Mom-Mom...
and so to continue...

 every party needs a

 THEME.

ok, so this would be the invitation cover...

All the gentlemen will be asked to come as
Inspector Jacques Clouseau,
the bumbling French detective whose career
is one gigantic banana peel,
or the suave, debonair jewel thief played so well
in the original film by the incomparable David Nevin

detective or jewel thief characters for the men
is a very broad range with which to work.
For the girls, simple...
come in PINK

Well, just think of it!
Everyone of you are invited to this party so don't worry,
but it is mandatory to arrive in Pink Panther attire.

The invitations, table decorations, table settings, table favors
will all be in the Pink Panther theme.

Well, Mom-Mom was absolutely delighted with this,
even though it was Chelsea's idea and not hers.
This event would give her extreme pleasure as she really could
pull out all stops !!

She had already discovered the lovely Sofia Blanc de Blancs,
Francis Ford Coppola's lovely sparkling wine named after his daughter.
In fact, Mom-Mom had been at the huge premier of this lovely
new bottle at the Sherry-Netherland in New York City only
a few years ago.  Francis invited her to all his events, you know.

"A distinctive blend as unconventional as the woman who inspired it,

Sofia is for the impromptu, impetuous,
live passionately for the moment kind of person.
The kind of person who lives like there is no tomorrow!
The Sofia Blanc de Blancs bursts with rich pear, honeysuckle,
and exotic passion fruit aromas.
Crisp apple, melon, and juicy tangerine flavors fill the palate,
with notes of bright lemon and honey evident
on the refreshing, mouth-tingling finish."

Do not get the idea that it's just cheap Italian pink wine
because it's wrapped in pink cellophane.
When the pink cellophane comes off you have a truly
amazingly wonderful & affordable
bottle which makes a beautiful presentation.

Can you believe this, Sofia is now available in CANS !!
a 4-pack with a bendy straw
in this delightful little box
Champagne in a can.

(yes, I know it's California & is really
a sparkling wine...let's not get technical).

So, of course, this had to be the table favors for everyone !!

Now, they only had to think of

the menu
the flowers,
the seating
the music
& on & on & on

maybe this for the flowers,
after all the Stargazers were pink like the panther
the Grand Cru were pink & yellow to match the panther's eyes

artwork of the flowers by Sue Woodvine in England

Well, all of this thinking just tired everyone out,
they all said goodnight
and retired to their own bedrooms...

A quickly re-done bedroom to accommodate Sean,  isn't that
sliding pink table just wonderful...
I would love to have something like this.
(does pink & black remind anyone of highschool?)

And, Chantelle's newly redone "uptown girl" bedroom

...to be continued with next Pink Saturday's posting...

I love reading your posts...they are like reading a fairy tale. ♥

That champagne in the can with a straw sounds dangerous..LOL I can't drink the stuff due to all the bubbles..I can only imagine what it'll do to you if using a straw! :0)

Thanks so much for coming over for a visit.

    Hugs,
    Stephanie ♥

  9. I'll be wearing something daring and hot pink! And I'll also have big diamonds and pink satin opera gloves. I've decided to wear 3 inch silver sling back heals too! (If only I could still walk in them). I love the clasic 50's siren look. And I'll wear cat-like eyeliner and petal pink lipstick with lots of glitter.
What are you wearing? This is sooooo much fun. You are very creative.

I must tell you how sorry I am that I just noticed that I have not followed you. I really thought I had! I visit so often. Well, I remedied that problem!
    Loved my visit tonight!

  10. Oh Sweetie...
I already fit in, as I have a pink hat and pink sweater. I but have to find something smashing to go with my pink sweater, maybe a cute little summer dress. I will be looking.

Champagne, in a can? How delightful is that. Definitely an element of surprise. Love it.

Have a beautiful day sweetie. Thanks for sharing with me today. Country hugs and so much love, Sherry

  11. Oh Sherry...Champagne in a can kinda takes the "special" out of it, doesn't it"?

But, Sofia is wonderful. We must ask Stephanie about it too because she's the REAL wine specialist.

Please know how much I value your comments. I read every single one and do hope you will take the time to leave your thoughts. I think InstaGram with the Emojis have taken a lot away from blogging, but I love IG too.
