Cinderella, did someone call?

Knowing all of you love a  fairytale motif in a baby's room
(where else in the house can you go so theme-crazy?)
but find most options way too overdone and over-ruffled for our sophisticated taste,
I simply couldn't wait to post about this amazing baby bed.

This Cinderella Carriage Crib
is another story, however, as it manages to look equally at home
directly in a fairytale or in a tastefully decorated room fit for a little princess.
Handcrafted by wrought iron furniture maker Corsican
it features the iconic pumpkin shape
 embellished with big carriage wheels,
trailing vines, rosettes decorating every joint, and a garland of leaves
at the crown complete with little birdies.
A beautiful magic pumpkin that won't go anywhere at midnight.
$3,759

you saw it here first.

That is truly precious. Whimsical, enchanting any dear one would be happy to have it. Although I had boys, now grown but alas no grand children , if I had money to play with I would put it in the garden or the sun room, and plant vines and make a bed of roses and moss.

Well it is fun to dream.

    Cheers,

  9. I am smitten with this bed...can they make a grown-up girl version? Once it has served it's purpose in the nursery, imagine how it would look on the veranda or in the garden, planted with flowers and tangled vines.

Please know how much I value your comments. I read every single one and do hope you will take the time to leave your thoughts. I think InstaGram with the Emojis have taken a lot away from blogging, but I love IG too.
