from the veranda

Large Urns, Old Wood
All as shown in the current issue.

We have seen some amazing changes in Veranda recently, the
one magazine which never disappoints.  The current
issue is flawless, beginning with the cover above - which
I love.

In a Dallas residence there is the most beautiful old Swedish plank table
laden with Delft & antique blue & white export vessels, sleek
little tubular hurricanes with white candles, beautiful white tulips
& hydrangeas.  No table covering of any kind, simple china,
silver & Waterford glassware. Above hangs a big & beautiful
Italian chandelier.  Opulent & elegant with a base of
simplicity which takes your breath away.

My scanner, etc. are still packed, alas, no photo of this
beauty right now.

I even love the ads.

  3. I couldn't agree more! Veranda is fast becoming a favorite, and these images prove just that. I am completely taken with the first -- those plush chairs against the wall color is heaven... and then you also had me at the last image. Just beautiful!

I hope you had a fabulous weekend -- I cannot wait to flip through this issue :)

Please know how much I value your comments. I read every single one and do hope you will take the time to leave your thoughts. I think InstaGram with the Emojis have taken a lot away from blogging, but I love IG too.
