Outside, by my window...

I think we can all agree that everything is so much
more captivating in Spring...

Tell me, who wouldn't want to see this
outside their window?

Hearing of Elizabeth Taylor's passing this morning
has caused me great reflection.  I don't think i missed
even one of her movies.  All my life I've known who
she was and admired her enormously, in every aspect.

All of you who have read my blog know how much I
adored Michael Jackson, and I thought she was
so supportive to him over the years, and really, until the
end almost 3 years ago

Everyone will do tributes to Elizabeth across the world,
showing 100's of her beautiful images.
My tribute is the photo below, I think she would like
it very much.

RIP beautiful spirit, I'm sure Richard Burton
will stand waiting for you.

  2. Hi Darling. Yes it is a sad day indeed and to see such an icon bid adieu is tragic.

    May she rest in peace.

    Hugs

  3. Such a lovely tribute for the lady with 'violet eyes', she had a great life though sometimes it must have been very hard to always be in the limelight.

  5. Oh so many memories of Liz and Richard, remember the Diamond, and the wedding in Canada. We will always have her on the screen Thank God. I see so many wonderful stars that are gone, in their old movies. we are lucky to still see them.

  6. This is beautiful and heartfelt. I suppose we all loved Elizabeth or maybe wanted to be her on some level. Thank you for your sweet comment on my blog.

  7. Hi Marsha, great post. Elizabeth was what every woman wanted to be. Beautiful, sexy, admired, raved over, foul mouthed, giving and so many other things. I loved her pictures, and yes, I do believe Richard is happy to see her again. A good love story never ends.

Please know how much I value your comments. I read every single one and do hope you will take the time to leave your thoughts. I think InstaGram with the Emojis have taken a lot away from blogging, but I love IG too.
