Must LOVE Dogs...

Some of you may remember my posting about my daughter's
crusade to ban chaining & tethering of dogs in her small town,
just outside Austin, Texas...following up...she was
featured in the newspaper, after her City Council presentation
about the examples of 3 different dogs who were chained + numerous
others we didn't feature.  She was asking for a city ordinance or a new
law banning chaining.

Today she is being interviewed by the Austin Fox News who will
do a feature about her to air very soon.

Cannot tell you how proud of her I am.

Amazing what we can accomplish when we get our teeth into
something (no pun intended) in which we truly believe.

Who knows, moving mountains might be next.

xx's my friends,

  1. This post makes me dream about a bit of luxury, living on the rural countryside in the middle of the Périgord!
Lovely images and just right for my Sunday afternoon with a glass of Champagne!

  2. You must be so proud of your daughter! That is such a wonderful idea. I post about my dogs a lot on my blog www.thealyway.blogspot.com and we all hate seeing poor puppies chained especially during the summer. Way to go!

  7. Bravo to your lovely daughter! Beautiful pictures as ever Marsha.

I can't see any pictures on your latest post - it's just little boxes with question marks. I keep clicking out and in but it's the same. It might be a problem my end so I'll try again later.

    Much love, C xx

Please know how much I value your comments. I read every single one and do hope you will take the time to leave your thoughts. I think InstaGram with the Emojis have taken a lot away from blogging, but I love IG too.
