Ummmmm

don't worry, you know you won't find a recipe at Splenderosa.

today I received a nice comment about the lace shoes I posted
a couple of posts back and was asked "whose shoes are those."
I said Valentino, I think, but I'm not certain.
It was looked up. They were Valentino, that's why they are so beautiful.

& now this....

by Kate Van Raden

if you would like to see the complete collection please go HERE
inspired by Mexico in the early 20th century...
I think these pieces are some of the most beautiful I've ever seen...
& I really love the styling of the campaign, do you?

  3. Honestly; I am almost as old as Valentino.......ever since his very first collection.....his first house with his first wife (who died); I have never seen one single thing he has designed or created......that I did not absolutely LOVE!

Not another human can I say that about! I have been a decorator....and fashion collector for well over forty years! "Not one misstep" Impossible?

No! ABSOLUTELY TRUE! (so sorry to shout!)

  11. I'm not sure what Frida Kahlo would've thought about all the black & white, but she would've rocked that gorgeous red lace number!

Please know how much I value your comments. I read every single one and do hope you will take the time to leave your thoughts. I think InstaGram with the Emojis have taken a lot away from blogging, but I love IG too.
