This is Not the Original....

it came from that darling girl, Nathalie,  of
Irresistible Paris,
a delightful blog filled with fun & lovely images,
and some thought-provoking commentary.

my own thoughts about this little list...

definitely do something new & different, one cannot understand or appreciate
what one doesn't know about.

learn one new word every single day of your life...just open the dictionary and choose one.

organize, pare down

make new friends, but only interesting, creative, knowledgeable people

love a dog

always make lists and carry a notebook
(or IPhone, IPad, etc.)

don't miss anything, take delight in everyday experiences

say thank you

give a compliment

& wear jewelry

I have always ALWAYS resisted "making lists"..
    I abhor them!
but..still I do not make lists..
    I categorize, by necessity..
    whether it be groceries,
    clothing,
    books..
    or gasoline for my car..
as disjointed as that grouping may seem..
it all can be lumped together in one trip!
    if it needs immediate action..
then the tasks will be done today..
    no notebooks for me..
my appendage is my trusty Nikon..
I do agree with many of the items..
    learning a new word a day..check!
I work crossword puzzles.. in ink!
basically.. I am a positive person..
so am most always out and about, making new discoveries while practicing my craft which brings me joy and happiness..
    and finally..
a resounding YES I DO WEAR JEWELRY!
enjoy your day.. now I'm off to visit..
    darling Nathalie, ..
I'll be a name dropper for sure!
    Hugs and smiles..

  2. I was never a list maker until menopause hit and struk me forgetful and now make them always. I've never had a problem with being creative and if I'm a little stuck on a project a nice relaxing hike with our Dylan dog does the trick to clear my head.

    Happy Sunday!

  4. Marsha,

Wonderful list of rules to live by. I am a huge list maker.. sometimes I forget where the list is :) but I do try. New friends, new words, new experiences, simplify. We are never to old to learn and it's so important to live in the moment and let go of things you have no control over.

    Enjoy your Sunday!

  7. Hello dear Marsha! Love your list too and so agree on " wear jewelery "! It will give more confidence, add fun to the day, strangers will talk to you and life is less serious. Thank you for kind comment on my blog, so lovely to hear from you as always. Love to you from France

Please know how much I value your comments. I read every single one and do hope you will take the time to leave your thoughts. I think InstaGram with the Emojis have taken a lot away from blogging, but I love IG too.
