Living Large, Part 3

Ralph Rucci

does this remind you of Alexis Carrington/Joan Collins from the days of Dynasty?
(for those of you too young to remember, "Dynasty" was a hugely popular TV show
way back then).

it certainly does to me.
& it is beautiful isn't it?

the over-xized shoulders, the structured pant suit.

the ensemble

Carolina Herrera

Lela Rose

the shoulder interest is going to be THE thing!
this one has the exaggerated width.

& I love it, this is my kind of cocktail dress.

Monique Lhuillier

maybe for the academy awards?

her day dresses

ok, this is my rundown up to the minute,
another chapter when we see more collections

commentary is mine, photos via style.com

*****************************************************************
on another very important note:
Prince Charles & Prince William
made public statements and videos
deploying the destruction of our wildlife.

as you know, I am 100% against trophy hunting and hope it will soon be banned
WORLDWIDE.

this week I'll write a post on efforts around the world to stop this practice,
and give you information on some of the national & international organizations
already working toward this.

I wish I were British today !!

  2. I much prefer these versions to the original "Dynasty" ones. Much more sleek and elegant. Shoulder emphasis without the exaggeration.

Please know how much I value your comments. I read every single one and do hope you will take the time to leave your thoughts. I think InstaGram with the Emojis have taken a lot away from blogging, but I love IG too.
