Bonjour chère amie,Superbes photos... et le romantisme de Saint Germain des prés !Gros bisous ♡
Dear Marsha, I did see one of the pictures :)All I can think is..beautiful, evocative, iconic ...Chanel, Monsieur Karl, Gisele and Paris Voila!. This is why they say 'Paris is not a city, it is a world'xxx
You said it so well, Sally !!!
Gorgeous......the second pic is my fave, a triple treat, Chanel, Paris and Gisele all in one:)
Exactly right, Tina !!!
Lucky to catch a fashion shoot outside Le Maison de Victor Hugo once. Giselle is lovely in Lagerfeld. Her presence in his couture would make any street beautiful.Happy New Year, Marsha!~Lynne w/L.
Lynne, the photography, art direction, just everything, make these photos so evocative and timeless. I love the way he shot her, off center. So interesting.
I love the second pic of Giselle as it doesn't look as contrived, however it would look even better if she was wearing a gorgeous pair of high heeled shoes. Bet her tootsies were freezing! Love the suit, and the amazing pointed collar of the shirt give the entire outfit an entirely new feel.Lovely Paris - it's time to return - but I have to wait until September!Hugs - Mary
It certainly IS show biz, but oh-so-glam. (Gisele would look good in anything, with or without shoes, and with or without Paris as a backdrop.)So elegant!
I LOVE fashion photography by Karl Lagerfeld! Absolutely love!!!And Gisele is so perfect for these....
A little fashion fantasy can go a long way - oh to be sauntering through Paris, barefoot and draped in Chanel!
I love Chanel! I have been in Paris many times during fashion week and love seeing all of the fabulous clothes. This shot looks wonderful! as does Paris!
Lucky girl !!!
IT IS ONLY BECAUSE OF YOU I SAW IT! Brilliant beyond! With those legs...who sees the clothes??!!??I love the views of the city...middle of the night!Thank you for finding and publishing!!!XXOO
Just my opinion......barefoot was key to the genius!Anyone else would have put shoes.......he is a "genius par excellence"; and so are you for finding these and sending them to us!!!BRAVA!!!!
He will always be a trail-blazer. Even when we think he's not, POW, he comes right back with this kind of genius thinking.
He's brilliant. Barefoot is the first thing I spotted! How funny.
Has anyone noticed the ugly feet except me???
DROP DEAD GORGEOUS!When does he have time to THINK?You know I spied HIM in PARIS.......he walked right by ME!I could have touched HIM.I tried so hard to think of something to say but NO WORDS CAME OUT OF MY MOUTH.I was at CAFE FLORE he had just come out of the NEWSTAND!Hummer double parked at CAFE FLORE.Body Guard and lady assistant at the READY!XX
