It's A Wrap...

I absolutely adore this type of a wrap,
and as you know, in Houston during our mild winters,
most of the time this is all we need.

call it a poncho, a ruana, a shawl, it doesn't matter.

it's beautiful, simple to wear, and gives one a very elegant look.

I think the fur is knitted onto an underlying fabric so it would be kinda stretchy & lightweight.

what do you think?

  1. I'm with you on this one Marsha - it's absolutely drop dead gorgeous, and the glorious color! I just want to get my chilly little hands in it, feel the softness around my now wrinkled neck - who would even notice wrinkles with something this beautiful enveloping it! Anyone sitting behind me in the theatre would be soooo envious, who could blame them. Perhaps there's a knitting pattern available, I have the big needles ready, haha!

    1. I often wear them over coats, just as an extra piece to keep me warmer. This works really well in very cold places. xx's

  4. I know there are many people who do not wear fur at all. And, I respect that. In some ways this looks a bit like shearling because of the curliness. That's OK because nothing had to lose their lives.

  5. Stunning. Oh, do I wish I could pull this sort of thing off! (Being of the Lilliputian persuasion, it's next to impossible if one isn't stick thin.) But it is gorgeous!

Please know how much I value your comments. I read every single one and do hope you will take the time to leave your thoughts. I think InstaGram with the Emojis have taken a lot away from blogging, but I love IG too.
