To Paris, With Love....

I understand it is raining in Paris today and maybe tomorrow,
so when I found this beautiful image of
Les Petite Palais
before the storm I knew it was perfect for the blog post today.

a photographer never knows when the perfect image will appear before him.
think how tragic it would be NOT to have gotten this shot!

I wish I could enlarge it more.

have a lovely Sunday!

  2. Marsha, it was obviously taken in early Autumn, fallen leaves but also still some hanging on the branches and changing color. The sun still shining but perhaps a storm brewing by looks of the sky. One could wait all afternoon to capture such a beautiful shot - love how people are still relaxing on the park benches.

I'll be there soon - am hoping for lovely Autumn days too.
    Hugs - Mary

  3. Just before I moved from Ottawa, Canada, to Victoria, Canada, I was fortunate enough to take a similar picture of the Parliament buildings in Ottawa. One half of the sky was black and foreboding, just before a thunder and lightning storm in late October, the other half bright blue. It was probably the most amazing picture I'd ever taken.

    1. I know, I know. I felt I had to take time for review of this tragic event.
The history channel has some excellent films, not shown before.
So sorry this is the way Renee's father passed, Yvonne.

Please know how much I value your comments. I read every single one and do hope you will take the time to leave your thoughts. I think InstaGram with the Emojis have taken a lot away from blogging, but I love IG too.
