You Have to Try This

this is a super inexpensive product new to the market...
& I'm always looking for something without OIL for cleansing my face & eyes.

take my word for it, this product may revolutionize makeup removal.

my skin is very sensitive, and my eyes sting with a lot of products,
however, this one doesn't have a bad effect at all, it works, all makeup comes off with a couple
of swipes of cotton pads, and there is no greasy residue.

I love it !!

once clean, I always use toner (usually NARS), followed by a serum which I allow to dry,
then apply the thickest night cream on the planet to my neck & face (& hands if I wear
night-time gloves).

it's at all the drugstores, supermarkets,
but go here to read all the product info.

I think it's good for hydration also.

  1. I use this and love it, but will not buy it again. The Norwegian "Forbrukerraadet" (consumer agency) states that this micellar water contains polyaminopropyl biguanide (PHMB). Here is a link in English from a Danish site

  2. Wow, I read the story your first commenter linked to Marsha - sounds a bit scary! I don't use any of the products on the list thankfully and perhaps will not consider trying this one. I use several Origins products including their Well Off eye makeup remover which doesn't hurt at all and does a good job. Always wash my face at night with plain old CetaPhil - hope both these products are very safe!

Who knows what to believe these days - just so many products and we only have the manufacturers' word they are safe.

    1. Almost everything says it MAY cause cancer these days, thanks to lawsuits. I would not worry about it. SOme people say that about deoderant, toothpaste, etc. Really, it's a dab. Worry about ISIS or something real!

  4. I use a similar product, Bioderma Micellar water, which isn't on the list. I just checked the ingredients listed on the bottle, and it doesn't contain PHMB. I took bottles of it for all my SILs and nieces on my last trip to the US and they all LOVED it and asked for more. Also, it says it's approved for use on the eye area.

  5. I use a similar product, micellar water from Bioderma. It isn't on the list mentioned above, and I checked the label and it doesn't contain PHMB. I'm the same as you--very sensitive eyes, and the Bioderma says it's approved for use around the eye area. And it doesn't irritate mine.
I took bottles of it for all my SILs and nieces on my last trip to the US and they LOVED it. Asked for more (they preferred it to wine and chocolate, so that's saying something).

    1. Elizabeth, all cosmetics sold in the US have to pass rigorous tests, but I don't know from whom. Learned this in vendor meetings at Sak's. I'll send P a message, thank you SO much for alerting me. I'm unconscious most of the time these days !!!!

  8. I use a similar product from Bioderma--also micellar water. I love it. It isn't on the list referred to in the comment above and I checked the label--no PHMB.
Like you, I have very sensitive skin, especially around the eyes. The Bioderma label says it's been OK'd for use around the eyes.
I took bottles to all my SILs and nieces on my last trip to the US and they LOVED it. Even more than wine and chocolates, so that's saying something.

Please know how much I value your comments. I read every single one and do hope you will take the time to leave your thoughts. I think InstaGram with the Emojis have taken a lot away from blogging, but I love IG too.
