THANKSGIVING

what a wonderful holiday this is for us Americans.
I sincerely look forward to this occasion...
as soon as summer ends, I'm already planning...
& I know lots of you guys are, as well.

but, I absolutely refuse to decorate for Christmas
BEFORE Thanksgiving !!

just a few lovely images to share with you today.
give thanks to our Lord for our wonderful country & say a special prayer to all our
service members & their families.
may they all come home safely & soon.

  1. What beautiful, beautiful images, Marsha!!! I am with you- I won't decorate for Christmas until after Thanksgiving. This year I did put my outside lights up because we had some warm days (unheard of here this time of year). However, I won't light them until Friday...I am kinda old school like that!
Have a blessed Thanksgiving, my friend. xo Diana

And a big hug for your comments the other day...I hope you have a wonderful time Dear friend, I wish we celebrated Thanksgiving over here in England! I loved the table setting photograph. What a novel idea to fill brandy glasses with those red raspberries!

    Sending love dearest Marsha,
    P.s. I just became a Grandma(Nana, I prefer!) for the 3 time yesterday!

    Hugs to you,

  7. Hi Marsha, went to Sutton place blog got an Eng. Muffin bread recipe, it's 5 AM and I realize now not to cook before a few cups of coffee. Forgot to let it rise, It's been in oven for 10 minutes, just pulled it out and top is hard, guess it won't rise now. Warning be awake before cooking.
    Happy Thanksgiving.

Please know how much I value your comments. I read every single one and do hope you will take the time to leave your thoughts. I think InstaGram with the Emojis have taken a lot away from blogging, but I love IG too.
