Summer Sundays

the beach at Biloxi, photo taken by my son,
Steve Harris, who is a commercial photographer.

beautiful tablescape made from vegetables,
I love it...took all of 5 minutes

dining al fresco in Italy

Sorrento, Italy
overlooking the wonderful beach umbrellas..

Amalfi Coast of Italy
looking from the roadway back to Naples & Vesuvius
(my son & friends climbed to the top early one morning)

Amalfi Coast, Positano
a gozzo boat to take you anywhere...
look at this water, and when you're there it is even more beautiful

garden pool at rented villa in Massa Lubrense
on the Amalfi Coast of Italy...
with a 180 view of the Mediterranean
while there, you tend to stay outdoors almost all day, shopping for
the freshest fruits & vegetables, local wines, great cheeses, breads
and then you come home, pile it all up on a big huge wood table,
as sort of a tablescape, and enjoy good conversations, laughter
and the luxury of time to relax, no schedule of any kind (on purpose)
...just take in the peacefulness and joy when you find yourself
surrounded by family, friends and beauty.
(I don't like to travel unless my family and/or friends come
along...so we can all enjoy it together).
