Houston's Fall Art Festival + BRACELET GIVEAWAY

Photography by my son, Steve Harris
it appears in his beautiful coffee table book of
portraits of Texas singers & songwriters...

Each year Houston has two major juried art festivals,
one in the spring & another one in the fall.
This coming weekend will be the Fall Festival of the Arts,
in which my brilliant son is participating. As some of you know,
he's a commercial photographer & with advertising spending way down
he & most of his peers have seen some difficult times.

He's been selected along with a few other artists to be in a
competition which runs online. He is thrilled, of course, as it
raises his visibility.

I would be overjoyed if you have time to pop
over to the Facebook site & vote for him.

His name is Steve Harris.

He also has a blog which is photo specific if you would care to look
at some of his personal favorites.

  5. Dear Marsha,
First of all, I wish your talented son much luck in the competition....in these lean times we all need as much recognition as we can get..... and, of course to you....all the best in your quest to open your Etsy shop. I know that you will do it and have great success.
..... and, thanks for the amazing giveaway. Such a beautiful bracelet and two of them as well. I am a great lover of cuff bracelets. My husband bought me one that is from Afganistan that I wear everyday.
I shall put your giveaway on my sidebar. XXXX

Please know how much I value your comments. I read every single one and do hope you will take the time to leave your thoughts. I think InstaGram with the Emojis have taken a lot away from blogging, but I love IG too.
