Hopefully, the blogger photo-not-appearing-on-my-posts problem
is resolved, truly with no help from me. They told me to remove
height =
&
width =
from the "html" which I did.
Took me 1/2 hour to find the "height=" & "width=" in the
gibberish.
Anyway.
Some prettiness I really like, soothing monochromatic schemes,
lots of high windows, wide open spaces, and
tons of people around.

The other afternoon one of my girlfriends & I had lunch together
in the area of Houston known as the Heights. A serious revival is
taking place in the near-downtown neighborhood, with cute little
cafes and shops everywhere.
We found our way into this
precious, but fairly large, little shop of home accessories.
I do not need one more accessory to put in my home.
Nothing.
But.
Why did I had to find this amazing little Victorian replica chandelier?
It haunts me now.
Last night I had a dream about it.
It has 6 beaded fringed lamps, it's a dining room size piece,
and now I don't know if I can live without it.
Does that ever happen to you?
My dining room is now part of my formal sitting room, it does not
need this chandelier as there are recessed lights in the ceiling on dimmers.
But, it DOES need this chandelier.
My heart wants this little beauty.
The price is not astronomical, but it's not "cheap."
I'm thinking, I'm dreaming.
Just saying.
Computers can occasionally be a huge PIA, wouldn't you say?!
ReplyDeleteBUY IT> TODAY.
That is if it is still there when you return. Happens to me, too!
Hi Marsha,
ReplyDeleteMy computer is still not picking up your images... I wish I had something useful to help you solve the issue!
Terri
I hate to be the bearer of bad news but on my end...no pictures. I sympathize with your frustration and hope its worked out soon.
ReplyDeleteI had a similar problem trying to post and it drove me nuts.. Go get the light fixture, life is short..I feel I should have bought a small sofa I saw last year, and wondered where I could have put it. Wish it was there I'd go get it and hold it in my lap.
ReplyDeleteWhen I start dreaming of something, that means that even if it is an investment I go get it and sooooooo enjoy it. With the exception of men, Bobby will not let me have any more!
ReplyDeletexoxoxo love you lots!
Yvonne
Glad to hear you were able to solve your photo issue - we would hate to miss any loveliness like this beautiful kitchen!! And as for chandelier = this is how I shop - I have to go home and mull it over. I am not compulsive. And if it still haunts me then I know ...
ReplyDeleteLOL! Sometimes I do dream about spaces I redesign for clients. Glad it's not just me! M.
ReplyDeleteTrying to figure out all this computer, HTML stuff is a constant learning process. Love that kitchen!
ReplyDeleteCongrats!!!! Its working!!!! And what a picture it is...wow! Soo worth the wait..a picture perfect kitchen:)
ReplyDeleteAgain a superb post and wonderful music.
ReplyDeleteYvonne.
The dress is a magnificent work of art. The flowing lines and tones melting into each other are absolutely striking! Have a fabulous weekend! Terri
ReplyDeleteHi Marsha. Oh, how I can relate. Sometimes I just hope the impulse will pass. Especially if I feel that way about something every week! Like running too many yellow lights. Forced cautiousness takes over. But you do have to trust your impulses. When it's true love, you need to go for it! XO Trish
ReplyDeleteMy neighbor and I had been just debating this specific subject, he is often searching for to prove me incorrect. Your view on this is great and precisely how I actually feel. I simply now mailed him this web site to point out him your personal view. After trying over your website I book marked and will likely be coming back to read your new posts!
