Hermes
bleus d'Ailleurs
Bleus d'Ailleurs, Hermes' lovely new range of porcelain and chinaware,
will transport you with the evocative power of travel, right at your table.
Its striking blue, black and white palette hails from a rich, exotic heritage,
from the Ming dynasty to sixteenth century European courts;
from the mosques of Samarkand to the minarets of Isfahan.
I love the blue and white import collectibles, and have been accumulating
pieces one-at-a-time over years.
This would be the way to collect anything precious,
like these Hermes pieces.
Birthdays, Anniversaries, Christmas, Valentine's
or any special occasion, is a way to collect, one place setting at a time,
before you know it, you will amass a beautiful collection for your home,
and to pass on to your children and grandchildren.
This is what I did and I have some of the most beautiful pieces, which I treasure,
and which I use every day.

I too am a lover of porcelain. Hutchenreuther, B&G, Royal Copenhagen - I have some of all and lots of some. A cup of tea, a sandwich...everything is better when taken from something beautiful.
ReplyDeleteIt's beautiful Marsha...I think this maybe going on my wish list :)
ReplyDeleteThank you for dropping by and leaving such a sweet comment, I really appreciate it.

What beautiful china Marsha. The combination of blue and white never fails to please the eye, does it ? I am a white china lover myself but could be swayed by Hermes !! XXXX
ReplyDeleteBeautiful pieces that never go out of style. Great advice for collecting!

These are great! Love the classic blue and white combination in all the different patterns!
ReplyDeleteAs a 'blue-and-white' collector I normally prefer the antique pieces. But this modern design is just very good and interesting! What not mind to have some of the pieces.
ReplyDeleteThanks for showing, Marsha!
