Christmas Memories....

Water Tower Park, Chicago
one of our most beautiful cities & one of our coldest
staying at the hotel atop the Water Tower Building is completely magical,
you overlook the city & the pretty.

below, Vail, Colorado
where we used to spend time every winter

streets of New York City

beribboned Cartier on 5th Avenue

street level view

perfect perfect party dress, isn't it?
I mean, it has sleeves !!!!!!!!

snow cathedral
does anyone know where this is?

do you think the horses get cold?

Don't forget...the ladies of "By Invitation Only" will meet again
New Year's Day
for a glorious luncheon at a beautiful restaurant
where we will share
our thoughts on

Merry Christmas my lovely friends....

I am going to sound totally "lame" I do not get the virtual luncheon.....I just don't get it!

How does it work?

I adore your blog; your music, and your jewels. (I need to know about the whole turquoise thing) It reminds me of Iris Apfel! (no greater compliment am I capable of giving)! I saw her exhibition twice! I flew to NYC from California to see it at the MET...I stayed two whole days as long as it was open.......and then I went to Florida to see an abbreviated version; again!

Please tell me about the whole turquoise thing! and the luncheon in Paris.! Please!

Merry Christmas!!!

Merry Christmas right back at you Marsha. You've made it a very lovely day with all of these gorgeous photos. And thanks for the advice on how to handle the day, no diet included. Big smiles.

I don't know where the snow cathedral is but it is magnificent. Love all the other images too. It makes me miss NYC a little, but they are not having a white Christmas anyway. I hope your holiday is going well and you are enjoying your time with loved ones.
All the best...Victoria

Merry Christmas my friend! Vail is where I was supposed to be to day, Alas, circumstances cannot be controlled. I am enjoying a festive, sadly non white Christmas at home with family and friends.

Merry Christmas Marsha! Love the Watertower photo. Spent a cold winter there when my husband was in medical school there (luckily only one!). Prettiest past of downtown! Have a wonderful holiday...and thanks for setting the mood. Who doesn't love a snowy view of Christmas! XO Trish

Snow Cathedral is in Norway. Anyone been?
Have never seen a snowman made out of different size grape wreaths - Super Creative!
Ditto on long sleeves and sequins :)
