don't worry, you know you won't find a recipe at Splenderosa.
today I received a nice comment about the lace shoes I posted
a couple of posts back and was asked "whose shoes are those."
I said Valentino, I think, but I'm not certain.
It was looked up. They were Valentino, that's why they are so beautiful.
& now this....

Marsha -- these are all quite lovely. Quite different from what we've been seeing lately.
ReplyDeleteHonestly; I am almost as old as Valentino.......ever since his very first collection.....his first house with his first wife (who died); I have never seen one single thing he has designed or created......that I did not absolutely LOVE!
ReplyDeleteNot another human can I say that about! I have been a decorator....and fashion collector for well over forty years! "Not one misstep" Impossible?
No! ABSOLUTELY TRUE! (so sorry to shout!)
I totally agree with you Marsha, these gowns are stunning and so elegant. Love the photos/campaign.
ReplyDeleteYour January posts are really spoiling us so far :) X

PS Can I tell you how much I love the music you have on here....it's been the soundtrack to my morning, been playing it continually!! X
ReplyDeleteLove the gowns, the styling, the mood. The artistry of couture dressing is captured so perfectly.
ReplyDeleteValentino gowns... yes, please! xo
ReplyDeleteOh to be tall, skinny and slightly flat chested! These clothes are to die for, but on a 5'3", curvy frame.....not so sure!
ReplyDeleteLove to look!
I'm not sure what Frida Kahlo would've thought about all the black & white, but she would've rocked that gorgeous red lace number!
ReplyDeleteVery ethereal and definitely romantic!
ReplyDeleteI know! How fabulous is that collection! Thanks for sharing!
