"Oak Alley" Plantation, Louisiana
don't we all just LOVE this !
looks like one of Christina's @ Greige
or Shari @ Little Blue Deer
this kitchen just feels so family, doesn't it?
that puffy chair just invites you to sit down with your magazines
or cook books.
& this just exudes luxury....
just the perfect room, I think
& this one too
& this one...
& this one
That bedroom is fabulous, almost ethereal.
ReplyDeleteYour track list is impeccable, too.
Wish you a great week.

CAN'T WAIT TO HEAR ABOUT OUR NEW THEME!
ReplyDeleteI loved visiting Oak Alley--yes, it is that beautiful!! Although I have to admit that my memory of the rest of the day is a little foggy as I had a big 'ol drive through Mint Julep to beat the heat (Mom was driving not to worry)...
ReplyDeleteWill look forward to the fun of reading the ladies from around the world...
I love the living room! Beautiful! And of course the chocolates on the spoon are not bad either.

This post is filed with so much fabulosity, I can hardly breath. I love the idea of a comfy chair in the kitchen and a glamorously reflective wine tasting room. I could move right into the living room with that wonderful encrusted dresser in front of a wall of antiqued mirror. Heaven!

All of the pictures are so inspiring and comforting at the same time. Inspiring in that there are features that can be adapted and comforting in the realization and acceptance that I will never live in such luxury and am so grateful for what I do have. Make sense?
ReplyDeleteOh my goodness. That closet.. I could *live* in that closet.
