Black high heels and clutch, black gloves and hat sort of a Hepburn style. Natural stocking and maybe a gold lame shawl. Very traditional I would say, since the dress says it all.
I would wear ebony and diamond earrings and a Patek Phillipe diamond watch. No necklace. It would compete with the dress. Upswept hair with a diamond brooch attached at the front. Black silk heels with black silk ankle tie bows and diamond shoe clips. Silk neutral hosiery. A Judith Liebert clutch with a diamond and black marcasite deco design. Joy by Jean Patou perfume, and I'm good to go. I like this dress. It's one of those "put it on and don't have to mess with it again for the whole evening" pieces. Thanks for the opportunity! You have always SO cute, lovely ideas:-)* LOVe this one too!
This dress is SO ''classy''and I want to make them more stylisch-elegant and modern... I think I want here by:
* tight hight black boots with high heels,
*natural color stockings,
*extra long black and silver necklace,
*small silver or black jacket-bolero made of synthetic fur,
*Solid silver(or Swarovsky) braclet mixed with a black color stones,
*small black gloves(light transparent),
*little black hat as a headband with a large silver ornamental flower-heart in form of magnificent jewel, wich coming back in a necklace(like a small nuance...),
* red leapstick,
*small bag in shape of a heart made from silver stones or Swarovsky stones.
* Make up is ''smokey eyes''(black and silver shadows).
************* Wish ALL the ladies much luck:-)))*
Thank you Marsha for this stunning chance, Love, ***Violetta***

Let the dress shine...it is so elegant and gorgeous! Black heels, silky sheen natural stockings, black clutch, large rhinestone earrings and bracelet. Understated is best with this dress!
Diamond earrings, bare legs, open toed heels and maybe a bra! LOL! I only carry my small Louis Vuitton purse now so that would definitely have to go with me!
Gorgeous dress - I agree, red red lipstick, smoky eyes, sleek simple very high black heels, diamond earrings to pick up the sparkle in the dress - no hose, no gloves, no other jewelry - just beautiful smooth skin and wonderfully manicured hands, without color, just simple - the dress says "i'm here, look at me!" and the personality has to then take over!!
An utterly glamorous dress. I would wear black opera length velvet gloves, high heeled tall black boots, hair swept up high in a ballerina chignon, ropes and ropes of creamy pearls (very simple, but baroque ones), no earrings and a tan coloured, quite unexpected, faux suede crossover slouch bag to add the twist to the bittersweet confection it would make!
Now, where to go in this outfit? That's easy! Nutcracker ballet, a cocktail party, or a dinner for two at a demure restaurant. Actually, I would wear that anytime, to client meetings or on site. It reminds me of a vintage Japanese sheath dress which I have, which I wear with skinny jeans & heels to meetings. It always make me feel glamorous!
I would make it simple: nude stockings, Chanel classic sling-back shoe (nude with black patent toe), off-white wrist length glove with 1 pearl button, Mikimoto pearl earrings with small diamond, hair could be a nice bob style ala Diana Wyntor and small Judith Lieber bag. Perhaps a small Mikimoto single strand necklace that would stop at dress's necklace. But need to see it. Don't want it to conflict with the dress. Maybe a vintage rose gold watch. Mary-Jo F. Dale
Hi Marsha, Thanks so much for stopping by The Buzz to read Tina's post today! Here's how we'd accessories this fab dress: replace the black bow with a red one, add Charlotte Olympia silk red color block pumps, a leopard print clutch, a great cocktail ring and chandelier earrings bvy Aurelie Bidermann and no stockings. Happy weekend! C + C
Let's see... No belt... black tights... in between sheer and opaque.. and Loubotin rock and gold boots in black suede... I would love a little black fur cape to keep me warm and a clutch from Bottega Veneta... Jewellery... Bg earrings... from Splenderosa of course...:) Happy weekend Marsha... xv
That dress screams Audrey!! I would wear a pair of Kate Spade -Lenora black sling backs with rhinestone embellishment. Also a Madeline Weinrib- ikat clutch, preferably in a raspberry, white and black pattern. Topped off with a sweet black fur shrug by Aqua or Michael Kors! Have a great weekend!!
Please know how much I value your comments. I read every single one and do hope you will take the time to leave your thoughts. I think InstaGram with the Emojis have taken a lot away from blogging, but I love IG too.

Hello Marsha
ReplyDeleteA stunning dress and I could keep it the focal point.
Black earings
Black high heels, perhaps in peau de soie (to pick up on the belt)
A cocktail ring in the shape of a bow to enhance the bow belt on dresss
Sheer stockings
What a great post.Have a wonderful weekend
Helen
