It's Rodeo Time in Houston.....


this is what the entire city looks like for the next couple of weeks...
anyone...and I mean EVERYONE who leaves their house
will come down with the "Wild West" fever.

it's so Texan.
what started out to be a rodeo is now a world-class
livestock show benefitting 4-H'ers from Texas, 
& featuring breeders from around the world.

giving you guys a peek at the fashion,
but I'll try to get some real shots for you too.

these guys put on a single day performance, so every day for the duration
there's a new headliner, wouldn't want anyone to be bored, you know.

    How cool and fun! My husband who is longing to unleash his inner cowboy would have so much fun. I bet there's not a dull moment around there in these next few weeks!

    I never pegged you to be a cowgirl at heart! I love a bit of western in a wardrobe like a great pair of worn out cowboy boots with jeans and a cool tunic shirt!

    Marsha, I want to see the rodeo. My roots are in Texas and my first love's family was very much into 4H. They raised pigs and sheep and we spent many fun days at the county fair. I was totally in love :)

    We have a huge rodeo in Salinas every summer...and everyone drags out their western apparel. It goes on for a week. I believe it may have the biggest purse of any rodeo in the country...always great for people watching! I bet Houston does it up right!!
