Awesome Kitchen, etc.

lemon thyme spritzer

well, you already know I wouldn't be serving anything in an old jar,
rather a beautiful crystal glass which, to me, just makes the entire thing so much better.

anyway, the recipe:

  • 6 large lemons
  • 2 12oz. cans of soda water
  • 2oz. simple syrup
  • Many sprigs of thyme
  1. Juice and strain the seeds from the lemons into a pitcher with ice
  2. Add simple syrup and soda water
  3. Stir to combine
  4. Pour contents into glass and garnish with several springs of thyme

Feta Dressed w/ Chili, Lemon, Olive Oil & Herbs

isn't this lovely?
I would serve it exactly like this, it's just so Italian, isn't it?

believe it or not, I love stacks of stuff like this

the arranging, the collecting, and the using...all important.

sourdough bread, fresh from the bakery, with REAL butter,
the freshest unrefrigerated tomatoes you can find,
some of that feta, some greens...

we've almost given up eating beef,
& I feel so much lighter inside, and I'm happier knowing I'm not
consuming an animal which had to be killed so that I could eat.

(I know, I know...some of you will think I'm silly...but a good idea has
to begin somewhere...right?  however, I'm in the wrong state for this to
catch on here.)

Marsha you're killing me here, I can't wait for real spring and summer to show themselves! Love the doggie rolling upside down, Dylan did that yesterday in mud five minutes after we got home from him having a bubble bath! I told him his face was dirty right after I started wiping it off with my sleeve....;)

Oh, I love that kitchen! (Though I would need a step stool to reach those overhead hanging pots and pans.)

The dog picture puts a smile on my face... They do make us cheerful, don't they?

I love that kitchen as well as the collected utensils in the other kitchen photo. The sandwich and the feta look like the perfect lunch on a Spring day.

As for the adorable do and the little pigs...I am smiling as I type.

You're on a roll here with these yummy drinks! I have some lemon thyme growing in a pot - it would go really well in your recipe.

Does that mean you have almost given up all meat, or just beef? We have cut down and down and down on our meat consumption - only a few times a week now. And we all feel healthier for it. xx
