Peaceful, Beautiful....

mountain cabin
Mount. Ranier, Washington, USA

could you stay here for awhile?
or would the isolation drive you round the bend?
I mean, maybe it has heat somehow, no need for AC.
don't have a clue how one would cook,
but I wouldn't be averse to shelf-stable foods
carried in a back-pack.

imagine what you would see,
animals, birds, fish, the sky, green grass,
mountain mists, Earth's ecology & abundance.

pretty cool, I think.

Isn't it the best? A complete stranger,....and very nice man.....took my arm and said to me (on the beach walking the dogs)

    "Happy Mother's day to YOU!"

I almost burst into tears! What a lovely thing!

Everyone either is a mother; or HAD a mother!

  3. So beautiful but a bit too lonely for me. I appreciate the beauty but would want other people to share it with me.
    Happy Mothers Day.

  4. The cabin would be a perfect refuge from life when it all gets to be just too much. As long as there was water, I could cope just fine and cooking would be easy even if I had to cook over a fire! Wow! Loved that picture. Thank you!

  5. That's like a lot of places in Maine with Ocean views. We get Sea Smoke, not fog. It is the steam off the water, kinda spooky. We had a Moose and deer this spring in the yard. The
Outward Bound camp is down the cove, so we get lots pf pretty colored Kayaks, rowing up the cove. Renee is loving it and seeing plants
she has never seen. We do get lots of fog.
Hope you had a great Mothers Day, Marsha.

Please know how much I value your comments. I read every single one and do hope you will take the time to leave your thoughts. I think InstaGram with the Emojis have taken a lot away from blogging, but I love IG too.
