    tumblr seems to be having a second moment....perhaps it represents a bit more of a slowed down aspect...something which we all need, it seems!

      I actually prefer Tumblr to Pinterest for inspirational photos, but I think it's very difficult to navigate. Glamour Drops, you are inspirational too!

    I DON'T THINK I HAVE A "TUMBLER" ACCOUNT!

    The shutters are so great! I love interior shutters! The perfect way to control light in the bedroom! Our house in Pasadena (with 18th century boiserie!!) had interior shutters in the "bed alcove"!

    That house is pictured on my website.....(and under "Press" it was in Tim Street-Porter's book; the Los Angeles House! It is such a good story! I think you will enjoy it! (Under Press..click on the cover of the Lost Angeles House"! The three pages will pop up!

    (I have no idea how my website designer did any of this!)

    Marsha, the first photo looks so elegant. I love that room! Isn't it something to find a look you really love and then you need a French house to duplicate it in. Unfortunately I doubt I can make a go of it in my Craftsman cottage. :) Love the earrings. Wouldn't they look absolutely divine hanging to tanned shoulders? :)
