those of you who stop in to see me often probably already guessed I'm a neat freak.
that's why this so appeals to me, wonderful organization and visually very very pretty.
& I'm completely in love with all this white pottery,
especially those extra large mugs on the 3rd row.

is anyone else like this?
my spices are even in alphabetical order, and everything in my pantry faces forward like
marching soldiers, and it just about freaks me out when Delfina puts cold drinks in
the fridge all jumbled up.
well, I don't mention it to her, I just straighten them myself...like a mad OCD woman.
I know, I know, it's a problem.
I'm working on it.
anyway, NO ONE knows this except me.
& maybe one day I will let you see my closet :)'s
moving along, the NFL football season is upon us, much like NY Fashion Week.
FYI, Fashion's Night Out has been cancelled in NYC
because it got completely out of hand and did not propel sales at all, which is the only
reason it was started.
now, football is serious to me.
NFL football.
Houston has The Texans
Boston has The Patriots
both of those teams are beloved by me.
I also love Peyton, but only because I want him to totally embarrass the
ownership of the Indianapolis Colts.
those of you who have no idea what I'm talking about...don't worry, it's OK.
but, importantly, did any of you notice that Vogue's September issue
had about 8 advertising pages of NFL gear for women?
I sure did.
& guess what, it's not bad at all.
I won't be buying any of this...
I already have my cheer leading outfit and pom-poms...
& here's Gisele with the children
at Tom's practice a few days ago.

LOL... oh you made me laugh with this because I once dated a guy who asked me if I was like Monk (the series) when he opened my refrigerator and saw all my bottles and cold drinks in neat rows, all facing forward but that was nothing when he saw my pantry! :D
ReplyDeleteMarie A.
Marie, I am so happy to hear this !!!
DeleteI knew we were alike.
My daughter says that I'm a perfectionist, but I'm working really hard to perfect not being so hard on myself. ;-0. Cherry Kay
ReplyDeleteCherry Kay...my problem is that I cannot finish until it's done perfectly, my version of perfect. Maybe I should do what you're doing.
DeletePerfection is nothing in the world. We always try to do best than others and our before.

I just love a neat pantry, spices in alphabetical order. My sister's pantry drives me crazy! Her tins and bottles are all helter-skelter, upside down, French side to the front! She just laughs, it doesn't bother her at all. I wish I could be like her....
ReplyDeleteI have a refrigerator with a glass door...enough said.
ReplyDeleteMarsha, I'm not quite as OCD....but bordering! I MUST have that Saints outfit. Thank God I have that issue of Vogue. Obviously haven't had time to read it yet, since I hadn't seen that!
ReplyDeleteHave a wonderful holiday weekend!
Love, love
Melissa
I knew someone would love those NFL outfits!
DeleteMy husband is the OCD one in our family...he is constantly lining up the items in our pantry and refrigerator!
ReplyDeleteHave a lovely weekend! xoxo
I think I love him!
DeleteWho is Delfina?
ReplyDeleteOh, yes Marsha...I'm a neat freak too :-)
ReplyDeleteHave a wonderful weekend.
xx
I knew it! I can tell by your posts. xx's
DeleteMarsha, I am a neat freak too! I like everything to be in it's proper place.
ReplyDeleteThe cabinet is fabulous by the way!
I hope that you had a magical trip!
It was too short, but I'm always happy in Italy.
DeleteI wish I was a neat freak but there is a theory that messy people like me are actually failed perfectionists because I want it to be so perfect that I give up entirely! :)
ReplyDeleteHad a long conversation about this last week. Creative people are never really satisfied because they know they can always make it better.
DeleteWatching your blog and listen to the relaxing music I can't find your playlist anymore to know what is playing right now. Can you help me with a hint please? Thank you Marsha.
ReplyDeleteB.t.w. I'm also an incurable neat freak but better than messy.
The Playlist is at the very bottom of your screen, as each track is playing you can see the title & the artist. Hope this helps. It's SCM Music Player, very easy to find on the web and easy to install the music using YouTube.
DeleteThank you Marsha, might overlooked it. Will download this relaxing music.
