ok, with the Christmas party date being set, kids & families arriving to visit the thought
has come to me that the Guest Bedroom, last one of the left, must get a face-lift.
seriously!
the room is not large but, thankfully, it has a pair of French doors overlooking a courtyard &
the front entry, so it has lots of good light.
it's a rectangle, so no varied ceiling heights, no fireplace, no real frills of any kind.
but I think it can be so much more functional and pretty.
loving the color palette of this one
oh, I know it, this one is pretty impossible, but I do like the carpet and the bedding.
there is an upholstered headboard, a tuxedo rolled headboard (but in a peach color)
& a Parson's chair & ottoman (same fabric).
so we're dealing with some white & peach with tan walls.
I have a beautiful antique 4-poster bed in storage, dark wood,
a skirted round table for one side, and a Chinese chest for the other side,
+ I lovely French chair, all of this is matching & coordinated already,
we would just have to move it in.
Kinda a taupe/tan with highlights of black & red.
if I call my helpers right this minute I could get this done.
yep. that decision's made. the only cost will be the moving in & out,
& my own labor.
think I can handle that.
