Chiara Farragni
of the uber fabulous and much-followed blog
The Blonde Salad
totally in love with her look in this pic.
I think she is Brazilian,
where they seem to create some really pretty women.
ladies, for the past 2 days I have been confined to bed with something dreadful,
the antibiotics seem to be kicking in today so perhaps I am on the way to recovery.
isn't it horrible when so many people depend upon you and you can't hold your head up?
not even to watch TV.
all I've wanted is complete quiet and my little doggies beside me.
the good news is that I feel a wee bit better today.
Simone, in her comment below, has told me Chiara is Italian !
Well, of course, she is. With a name like that.
I could I have thought differently, and anyway I'm part Italian.
Hi Marsha,
ReplyDeleteMy empathy. There is a really strong bug going around that zaps people flat.
I had it and tried to work anyway, and it turned into walking pneumonia. Please be careful!
Hi Marsha.
ReplyDeleteMy empathy. There is an incredibly strong bug going around this last winter that really knocks people flat!
I had it on and off for three months and tried working through it anyway as best as possible, and it turned into walking pneumonia.
Please rest and be careful!
Chiara is Italian Marsha, her blogging career is quite something isn't it?

ReplyDeleteSo sorry to hear that you've been poorly Marsha….. hope your back to 100% soon. Much love. XXXX
Dear Marsha...so sorry to hear you are under the weather... I sometimes wishes I were sick, so i could stay in bed all day, a book in hand but feeling no pain or discomfort of course! Wishing you well and please come and visit New York soon.
ReplyDeleteDear Marsha,
ReplyDeleteI hope you are propped up in bed in a lovely quilted satin bed jacket with a caring and competent nurse (think Agnes Moorhead in Magnificent Obsession) bringing you trays of broth and light fare. Pots of tea to wash down the pills and of course a daily home visit from the older, caring doctor to make sure you are getting better every day. As you begin to recover you can 'take the air' on a chaise lounge outside (in the back, of course, no one must see you until you are well) for an hour each day. The Spring sunshine will do you good. If only this were true, I know we'd all recover faster and feel much less worried about our illness, which would allow us to rest comfortably. Just knowing that someone was 'taking care of things', makes getting better so much easier. If I was there, I'd drive in from Sugar Land and leave a basket at your door. Get well and enjoy the fantasy!
Warmly, Kathleen
Another ITALIAN…….I best check her out too.A speedy recovery…………and I mean SPEEDY!We have NO time for that kinda stuff!Certain those four-legged BEASTIES will take GOOD care of you!
ReplyDeleteXX

Hope you feel better soon! Love the fantasy spun above by Gramspearls -- wouldn't that be lovely?!
ReplyDeleteMy Spanish nieces were born in Brazil and consider themselves Brazilians...so, it's possible Chiara considers herself Brazilian. Anyway, sorry to hear you are sick.......but, at least, I'm assuming you didn't have to cook dinner.
