the best moments....
the best moments....
this is about to become a weekly feature in my drastically changing blog.
I know you who read me know some major shifts have occured around my place,
for one thing, I simply do not have the time I used to in order create my blog, because now
I'm working 4 days a week.
creating a good, especially a great, blog takes a whole lot of time...creating content which
is actually something of interest to everyone of you is really difficult.
I am so bored with clicking over to see what someone likes or recommends on their every post.
I'm not saying I won't do this from time to time. I'm just saying if I do it, it will be something
I believe is of sincere value, is absolutely beautiful or really fun.
with this post...it's travel.
the above photograph is
The Cobbles of Gold Hill in Dorset, England.
the view down this little hillside is one of the most romantic in England, I think.

for me, some of the best moments of my life have been via travel...
what about you?
Quality always beats quantity. And I agree about travel.

Happy Easter dearest Marsha, I hope it has been a lovely Easter time for you and your family.
ReplyDeleteI always love, no LOVE your blog and your varied and heartfelt posts. It feels fresh and alive, you are so good to renew and reinvent.Im full of admiration
As for Dorset, it is beautiful and very quaint. Pretty villages with steep hills down to some of the loveliest coastline in Britain, my uncle and aunt married there,in Swanage.
Much love to you, Sally xxx
My precious Sally, you are among my favorites...because you take such time with your thoughtful comments. I very much appreciate your attention.
DeleteMuch better to say nothing at all than to create a post simply for the sake of posting. This photo speaks a thousand words; now imagine who lives in each cottage, the elderly lady who has lived in the same street for decades, the retired couple who have downsized, the young couple with their baby, the Londoners who love their weekend bolt hole - now we can make a story! This is home to me, I grew up close to Dorset, our eldest daughter is at University in Dorset, it's a beautiful county. Hope. You had a lovely Easter x
ReplyDeleteDorset is a very beautiful county and one that went to for our Summer holidays as children very often. It is so pretty.
ReplyDelete.... and, I am suprised that you can find any time to blog if you are working 4 days a week ...... you're brilliant !!
Hope your Easter was a lovely one. XXXX
Good morning, Marsha...though I seldom comment, I have enjoyed your blog since I discovered it two years ago. It never occurred to me that a writer's blog should be about what others want to read. To my mind, a blog should represent the soul of the person writing it, wherever that soul wants to travel. Follow your heart and those who value your talents will follow it with you.
ReplyDeleteMarsha,
ReplyDeleteA very Happy Easter to you. I love your blog and look forward to it each and every morning...always the first one that I open! I am so with you on your comments, we all must continue to change and evolve, and you are doing that just beautifully! Love today's post...what a beautiful, simple way of life...one that I yearn for at times. Thank you for posting that lovely picture of Dorset...aaahhh, if only! Have a wonderful day. One of these days I am going to get by your store and shop, just haven't made it by yet. Nancy
