the best moments....

this is about to become a weekly feature in my drastically changing blog.

I know you who read me know some major shifts have occured around my place,
for one thing, I simply do not have the time I used to in order create my blog, because now
I'm working 4 days a week.
creating a good, especially a great, blog takes a whole lot of time...creating content which
is actually something of interest to everyone of you is really difficult.

I am so bored with clicking over to see what someone likes or recommends on their every post.
I'm not saying I won't do this from time to time.  I'm just saying if I do it, it will be something
I believe is of sincere value, is absolutely beautiful or really fun.

with this post...it's travel.

the above photograph is
The Cobbles of Gold Hill in Dorset, England.
the view down this little hillside is one of the most romantic in England, I think.

for me, some of the best moments of my life have been via travel...
what about you?

As for Dorset, it is beautiful and very quaint. Pretty villages with steep hills down to some of the loveliest coastline in Britain, my uncle and aunt married there,in Swanage.

Much love to you, Sally xxx

  4. Much better to say nothing at all than to create a post simply for the sake of posting. This photo speaks a thousand words; now imagine who lives in each cottage, the elderly lady who has lived in the same street for decades, the retired couple who have downsized, the young couple with their baby, the Londoners who love their weekend bolt hole - now we can make a story! This is home to me, I grew up close to Dorset, our eldest daughter is at University in Dorset, it's a beautiful county. Hope. You had a lovely Easter x

  6. Good morning, Marsha...though I seldom comment, I have enjoyed your blog since I discovered it two years ago. It never occurred to me that a writer's blog should be about what others want to read. To my mind, a blog should represent the soul of the person writing it, wherever that soul wants to travel. Follow your heart and those who value your talents will follow it with you.

Love today's post...what a beautiful, simple way of life...one that I yearn for at times. Thank you for posting that lovely picture of Dorset...aaahhh, if only! Have a wonderful day. One of these days I am going to get by your store and shop, just haven't made it by yet. Nancy

Please know how much I value your comments. I read every single one and do hope you will take the time to leave your thoughts. I think InstaGram with the Emojis have taken a lot away from blogging, but I love IG too.
