last evening I went to dinner with a lovely gentleman
...that alone was enough...
the restaurant is a very casual neighborhood place with
the absolute BEST food...
from steamed mussels to pizza...it's all good.
& not pricey...
it's called LaVista on Fountainview next to Rice Epicurean
for those of you in Houston.
now, the LOOK of the day is the off-shoulder tops.
I mean, seriously, every single young woman in the restaurant
had a version,
& when it's this hot, it look super !!

I have one too, a black cotton lace piece, but I don't wear it this low, I kinda let it find it's own way around my neck. I could still bare my shoulders, however, not as beautifully as the girl above, who just
happens to be Alexandra Lapp, a German girl, who's EVERYWHERE on the internet.

Yes! it was me and my daughter on her Birthday, last week, we went to our favorite Italian Restaurant, What a surprise when I met her at the restaurant and see that we both had of- shoulders, Tops. Love that style.

They have found their way to the hinterlands, here in Birmingham, AL, too. I thought I was so chic, and when I walked in, at least half the women there were also wearing some version. Maybe we are more with it here than I thought...
