it is time for all of us Americans to demand

do something on behalf of our country,
and forget about all this political haranguing.
WE pay their salaries.
If we don't pay their salaries WE go to jail.
I am stunned that we cannot watch TV without this
insanity intruding into our lives.
I mean, even Jimmy Fallon occasionally rants.
& I like Jimmy Fallon.
Here, in Texas, we have news of all types, even news in Spanish.
I think I've heard every single argument for/against
any position.
But, I make up my own mind.
I don't let the "media" decide for me. Especially now,
when we mostly have opinions and NOT news.
If you read this, please reach out to everyone you know to
write/call/email
your State Congressmen and both your US Congressmen &
the US Senators.
The homeless crisis is pure insanity.
This country can solve ANY problem once the politicians
WORK on solving problems.
I know some of you will disagree with me.
Some of my friends might actually believe the Democrats
are right.
I do not.
And, even people who did not vote for President Trump
last time are going to vote for him this time.
Our economy is great. The Wall-Streeters will definitely
vote for him.
For all of you guys in California, Oregon &
Washington, who only hear propaganda, I'm begging you to find another way to get the real news.

One of my girlfriends who lives in another state told me a couple of years ago that our President is uneducated and ignorant.

Well my friend, I could not agree with you more. What a mess we have allowed to happen in our country. When the illegal (yes I am aware it is unlegal to use this legal term in some places) to have more rights and benefits than those who have lived here all their lives, have fought and suffered for our country and many still are, then something is very wrong. This current political fiasco is insane and I hope you are right about persons who voted for the democratic party last time. Praying they will have their eyes opened and vote differently this time. If we conservative voters don't take this election seriously and vote, then our country may very well be lost. Preach on my sister!

DeleteI no longer give very much of my time to news because I'm tired of the media pushing their opinion on people. I feel it is sad that there seems to be no respect for even the office of presidency. When there was a president in office I did not care for I just turned off the tv or radio when he was speaking because I didn't even want to hear him. But I did not go around disrespecting him or his family. Part of bring a true American is to have respect for - if nothing else the role of president. Just my two cents. Lisa :0)

ReplyDeleteAren't you guys afraid of all the Muslims taking political office around the country? I lived in the Middle East a long time ago, I do not dislike them at all. I just think we must keep our countries for the countrymen, not for transients.
DeleteI couldn't agree with you more. I live in California and those of us that are "right" are in hiding. I kid you not. My husband and I are contemplating leaving California. The homeless situation is so out of control, the Governor is more concerned about taking care of "non tax paying" people than the people that pay his salary. .
ReplyDeleteI fear the Democratic view is only to get votes from ANYWHERE they can. Like blowing in the wind, which ever way it blows. The real fear is that they might actually keep getting into office. We must retake our cities and our country. Perhaps, President Trump was the exact person to make ALL of us SEE the hideousness of our system.
DeleteThe political person is one who seeks power, not one who "works for the people" and it likely has always been that way. In our time, there is no pretense of anything but greed and power. Fear of losing an election and a cushy job with unlimited benefits drives their agenda. If DT's personality and/or demeanor offend get over it. He will be re-elected because I truly hope and believe that most Americans are much smarter than the media and left wingers think we are. Such foolishness has been insidiously indoctrinating the public for generations. Thankfully, most of us still think for ourselves. Those with the socialist tendencies are quite frankly lazy and lacking common sense. I can no longer stomach their proclamations about immigrants, border walls, birth control, government funded health care, etc. I see not one helping at the food bank, not one protesting traditional and solid values that have been the foundation of the republic since its inception. I will not sit back and be quiet. My voice is as valid as any. I no longer watch any late night TV, hypocrites. Pandering, pathetic, hypocrites! Well, you might have touched a nerve Marsha, good thing. More nerves need to be tweaked and maybe these rubes will wake up.
