As mentioned in a previous post,

we're creating a new line in our jewelry collection for

Puerto Vallarta, Mexico & other resort markets

The element which will bind the collection together is the CIRCLE.

Please let me know your thoughts, either pro or con on this new work

presenting the 1st glimpse of

sterling silver rings which are hand wire-wrapped in black & gold wire

embellished with faceted black spinel & gold beads

finished with the same black spinel & 14kgf tubes

comments from our showroom in NYC say the hand wire-wrapping of the rings

(which is hugely labor-intensive) gives the work an artisan-look

which is nowhere in the marketplace

this piece is made with 14kgf hammered rings of various sizes fashioned

into a hand-made chain creating a lariat style closure

in any stone we use in the collection

as a reference point for ourselves, even if we dismantle it
and start over

3-Strand 14kgf necklace with Faceted Chrome Diopside Pears

interspersed un-equally, without a definite pattern with hand

wire-wrapped gold circles, all assymetrical

note: Chrome Diopside (horrible name) is a bright green stone

found only where diamonds are found

the triple circle dangle, not completely refined yet,

don't like the interlocking circles, would rather see the rings flat against skin

with the stone dangling for some movement,

which I believe is imperative in all of my jewelry designs...

the movement is what makes it sexy & feminine
