Tablescapes of a different sort...
not your usual dining table, but beautiful anyway...
my mother always liked bouquets of the same flower,
she never mixed varieties...
one of her favorites was baby's breath massed together...
nothing else...what do you think?
glass-topped wrought iron patio table
with these amazing orange & pink tulips
against a background of aqua & purple...
very far away from ordinary, but outside, poolside it's pretty...

just think about how splendid your table would be with these little numbers,
don't think about the price,
think about how lovely they are
& easy to care for as well...

Lovely table arrangement!
ReplyDeleteHi Marsha. Tablescaping is so much fun!
ReplyDeleteLove the baby's breath all by itself...so very pretty. Have you ever grown it yourself?
Thank you for stopping by and your sweet comments.
God bless and may you have a great week,
d
I'm so glad you shared the model ... couldn't do that bow/hat ... but I love the way her clothes are painted. I'm just about to paint some sweats with my 3 year old grandbaby! It will probably look a little like that!!!
ReplyDeleteI like the baby's breath in an arrangement. One flower is striking and makes a statement. Love the napkins and the food photo. Very stylish. Thanks for dropping by.

what beautiful inspiration.. just what i needed
ReplyDeleteGorgeous! I especially loved the tulips! I have to agree with your mother; I love oen single type of flower as well. Your tablescapes were really pretty.
ReplyDeleteAbsolutely gorgeous napkins! Love the bouquets and the fruit looked good enough to eat!
ReplyDeleteAlmost felt I could grab them!

ReplyDeleteCertasinly was different but still the wonderful blog I have accustomed to look at each day.
ReplyDeleteYvonne,

ReplyDeleteVery beautiful and full of inspiration your post from today,
I hope you are spending a nice summer week,
Hugs

Marsha,
ReplyDeleteIt would be you that would bring extreme glamour and a sense of high style to the table this week.
I am in LOVE with the silk napkins! Each image just thrills me! My pick for a vase of one flower would be peonies, no lilacs, no tulips... just too many great ones to decide.
Everything you do is always grand perfection!
Yvonne
I really like tulips all alone in a vase--they look so natural to me. I think it depends on the flower, but single types in one vase do make for a striking display. And love those silk napkins...!
ReplyDeleteI love the baby's breath,
ReplyDeletethat chair is pretty too.
First time i have seen the silk napkins, beautiful.

I love a single kind of flower in a vase too. So striking that way. Those silk napkins are divine!
ReplyDeleteHi Marsha,
ReplyDeleteyour photos are so fresh and elated. I love flowers in any combination, a huge bunch is very pretty and so glamourous. One flower alone is more an decorative element like a statue. Those silk napkins are breath taking. I love those colors. I would like such as shawls.
Greetings, Johanna
