LACE, Fall Trend #3

We could have grouped this with LADYLIKE, but I think it can
stand alone.  A bit of lace, added in 1000 different ways
can update your LBD, a pencil skirt; add a lace tee to a conservative suit;
wear a headband with a lace bow.

  1. Dear Marsha, I hope you're good. I shall be following your tip and buying some lace tights to update by LBD's. A great inexpensive way to work this trend xx

  5. Absolutely stunning!

Ps: I smiled on your previous post...I'm also a little bit tired about how the fashion industry rushing things LOL...I'm not even ready for fall and I don't dare to post about 2010 fall/winter trends cause it feels "old fashioned" already LOL...

Have a great week, cheers: Evi

  6. Evi @ Absolutely Ladylike...

I think it's the world of instant access. It was never intended this way though. The bloggers have a unique niche, but I swear I think they only appeal to each other, like who got the scoop, you know?

Vogue Magazine & all the rest of the fashion publications follow the calendar as it's been for ages, printing in September the newest rages...kinda like I'm doing...as I take what I think will sell & be wearable for the people who read my blog and the thoughts of my friends & contemporaries.

I mean, really, is it BIG news to the world at large what Prada is showing for Spring 2011 in September 2010. No, it isn't.

Plus, since our economy has taken such a huge nosedive, the ladies who purchase luxury retail are waiting MUCH closer to the actual season to buy.

My thinking on this is pretty professional, coming from lots of friends who are still in retail at high levels, plus my own marketing of Splenderosa jewelry.

Go ahead and post what you love. I, for one, would love to know what Evi wants to wear for Fall/Winter 2010.

  7. Not that a lady should ever have her legs in the air, but the bottom of those shoes are worthy of a peek for sure!

Love lace. And I would love to pull of the hose without looking ridiculous!

    XO,
    Kelly

  12. Hello Marsha,
I feel so fortunate to be able to just click on your post and see the splendor that you create and provide. Thank you.
Unfortunately, lately I am unable to hear the music that accompanies your blog. I must have done something to disable that function. I miss it so much.
Have a Merry Christmas and a Happy and Healthy New Year

Please know how much I value your comments. I read every single one and do hope you will take the time to leave your thoughts. I think InstaGram with the Emojis have taken a lot away from blogging, but I love IG too.
