Happenings in NYC & My New Look

Carolina Herrera

lots of focus on sleeves, looks very new to me

everywhere there is fur, longer lengths

Victoria Beckham

she continues to fascinate me, talented in so many areas,
& her apparel is geared toward wearability by her
clients who are also her friends
really pretty, column of color
sleeves again

Diane Von Furstenberg

young, happy colors, blending not matching
her collection looked dis-jointed to me, not cohesive,
but I do really like this look & she's done it well....

Carolina Herrera
sleeve treatment, lots of real fur in her collection

  1. Hi Marsha,
I was thinking I love the Carolina Herrera a lot although the line is branching off into more of and angular drapey look. Also since you are going to do your jewelry page I have added Splenderosa to the sidebar of Beadboard,so you can stir up more business ;)Maryanne

  2. Thank the fashion industry, cover those ugly knee's. Looks like someone likes women here.
I think it is a blot to kill us wearing pointed shoes to ruin our feet. Women are not sheep and I have never worn above the knee except for the late 60's. When I was influenced by designer's.
At my age I wear clothes of a solid color,
need to look taller and helps with the weight problem. That top blouse is gorgeous, infact they are all stunning. Beautiful post Marsha.

  3. Wish I could have seen the Herrera show - looks simply beautiful but I've always loved her elegant sensibility.

Please know how much I value your comments. I read every single one and do hope you will take the time to leave your thoughts. I think InstaGram with the Emojis have taken a lot away from blogging, but I love IG too.
