BHLDN & Splenderosa (ME)

Here in Houston a new boutique has recently opened,
an absolutely splendid store, whose primary philosophy is
all things bridal,  Anthropology's new

BHLDN

which means BEHOLDEN

The shop is breathtaking to see, and you know I'm not easily impressed with
the design or layout of boutiques (are you?)...but
BHLDN
is something every woman should see.

Of course, the Houston store is only the 1st.
If successful, & it already is, it will be in every city soon.

Below, some of their merchandise...

a beautiful cover up

a little black dress, $420

with a nod to Alberta Ferretti, this dress could easily be
mother-of-the-bride, attendants, guests or even a bride,
$420

some drop-dead shoes

Bird of Paradise Head Piece...$220
they had so many, including hats, bridal & everyday...

Go HERE to visit BHLDN's website

Below, Splenderosa's New Hair Pieces
for major fashionistas

our own feathered headbands,
in black/browns, black/reds, black/blues, black/greens
$40

these pieces are very haute, excellent for cocktail parties, galas, or
entertaining sumptuously at home.  to bring them down a notch we would
simply remove the 1st few feathers across the top of headband.
they are a HUGE LOOK for Fall/Winter.

Birdcage veiling with feathers & handmade flower
$35

lovely headbands
crystals in clear or champagne

$20

let me know what you think, please

  1. Love your new feathered headbands! They are spectacular and while I don't have any fancy galas to attend or even a cocktail party on the books, I may need to have one in my possession pronto. XOXO

  3. I've been hearing the buzz about BHLDN and hope to get there soon. Isn't it nice that Houston is the frontrunner for once in getting a new store before the rest of the country?

  4. Oh yes, I think so too. Houston is a huge international cosmopolitan city...and most people don't realize this. BHLDN has some lovely things for parties for all of us. What's especially great is that it's in Highland Village (not the Galleria).

  7. Lovely headbands Marsha. Anyone who wears one would make a fabulous fashion statement. I so miss going to black tie parties and galas and getting dressed up. Your headband is something I would definitely wear. If only I had an occasion anymore...Sigh.

PS It's nice to know not everything is in the Galleria.

Please know how much I value your comments. I read every single one and do hope you will take the time to leave your thoughts. I think InstaGram with the Emojis have taken a lot away from blogging, but I love IG too.
