This is What I Would Wear

someone has invited you to dinner, a formal seated dinner party,
given at their beautiful home.
you know the style of the hostess,
you know the occasion.

for me, this ensemble would be perfection given that it's October,
the Fall & Holiday season is upon us, but you don't want to
be "ball-gowned" or too casual.
notice the double-cuffs, just loving this look...
really one could do without the Tiffany Tri-Color Gold Collar
& just wear the cuffs & earrings.

love love love the whimsy of the chevron-ed fox jacket,
this is what makes it current, happening, beautiful and NEW !
this entire outfit was chosen to go with this little jacket...
now, if only I can take it to Vail...

  1. Marsha, a very striking combination, wow, stunning. Funny how we can choose an outfit round one piece, I have done it many times I also furnished a room once based on a single painting. Have a fantastic weekend. X

  4. Love it all but I would truly burn up in a jacket! I cannot wear one to save my life! It has bothered my mother since I was a little girl but I cannot be confined like that! I love them on everyone else and always wish I could wear them! The dress is stunning….not sure I could wear the shoes! Sure looks like fun, though! Have a fabulous weekend!

  5. Everything is soo Glamour, chic, You would be the star of the party. Is it a Fundraiser?
or political party. What ever it's a smashing outfit. Love the leaf necklace.

  9. Wow, I'm catching in on those shoes. I probably couldn't last the entire evening in them either, but they are soooo pretty. It's fun dreaming, isn't it?

  12. Oh I just saw that you commented again on my blog...YES, THE NUTCRACKER!!! I had started a "series" of ballet wands with this theme. I have a "Sugar Plum Fairy" ballet tree topper that was born out of that idea...thank you my dear for viewing my work! You are so kind. I am entering into a show here in Minneapolis at a book art center where paper work is appreciated!

    MANY THANKS...Anita

Please know how much I value your comments. I read every single one and do hope you will take the time to leave your thoughts. I think InstaGram with the Emojis have taken a lot away from blogging, but I love IG too.
