if I were invited to a masked ball I wonder what I would wear?

the entire evening created to celebrate friendship and the ending of one year and beginning
of the next year

you imagine you will see many splendid outfits, people and that the tables will be
laden with silver...

miles of tulle, goddess gowns will be seen,
beautiful pearls in abundance are so elegant

  18. Formal is lovely!!!!
    It teaches the young!!

I grew up with "black tie" dinner parties every Friday night in our beautiful dining room!!! In Pasadena California!!

Just so you hear what I was taught:
"Black tie". is what it is called!! (On an invitation)

    Better yet: "dinner jacket"!!

    (if asked "what to wear!")

    god forbid "tuxedo"; YIKES!!!!!!

    Worst of the worst?

    "Tux"!!!!! EEEEK !!!!!

That will send me around the bend !!!!

Dearest readers! Teach your children and yourselves!!!!

    No "tux"!!!!

Please know how much I value your comments. I read every single one and do hope you will take the time to leave your thoughts. I think InstaGram with the Emojis have taken a lot away from blogging, but I love IG too.
