  1. I've always enjoyed my visits to Texas, though it's been a few years now. I've never seen a rodeo. I can only imagine it would be impressive - and even a bit intimidating (to city girls like yours truly, not used to big animals).

But your pictures make it look like so much fun!

  5. Dear Marsha, both my trips to Texas were memorable, Houston and San Antonio...We stayed on a working ranch with my girlfriends while attending Marburger, and then shopped in Houston. What I loved the most was the people, warm, genuine hospitable and large!! The drawl and all round charm won our hearts! I hope to return very soon...N.xo

  6. Hi ---- Didn't see him in your list of performers, but is that not Kid Rock in the picture on your post? I just bought his recent CD and love it (who knew).

The Rodeo looked wonderful and glad you had a great time; we've got one here this summer, but don't think it's anything like Houston's.

By-the-by ------ wore your necklace and was not prepared for all the compliments. It's a really gorgeous piece and not something that is the usually "Moi" style, so I would outrageously pleased. Thanks for making my day (and more to come). MMR

Please know how much I value your comments. I read every single one and do hope you will take the time to leave your thoughts. I think InstaGram with the Emojis have taken a lot away from blogging, but I love IG too.
